Nine new Czech LUMI projects utilizing AI chosen

the LUMI data center

Nine new Czech projects have been chosen to utilize LUMI, Europe’s fastest supercomputer. These projects were granted in the Special Call for Czech researchers calling for AI and GPU-accelerated applications. The projects will use LUMI’s massive GPU capacity.

The projects are, for example, developing machine learning for lipid-protein docking, which is crucial for structural molecular biology and drug design, advancing vision-language understanding for autonomous driving, improving the accuracy of large language modes (LLM), and more.
